For rentals of 21 days or longer no one-way fee will be charged.

The interior of the vehicle is expected to be in a clean state at drop-off time, otherwise a one-off fee of AU$ 150 will be charged. The toilet and waste water tank must be emptied prior to the return of the vehicle and all fuel tanks (i.e. petrol, diesel and gas) need to be full, otherwise a further fee of AU$ 150 will be charged.
This option can only be booked in advance, is charged for a maximum of 50 rental days and cannot be purchased on arrival. There are no long-hire discounts off these supplementary rates.

In addition to the provisions in the base rental rate, this option includes:
- 'Liability Reduction Option 2' insurance supplement which reduces the excess to NIL for insured damage
- One-way fee
- 2.5% government stamp duty
- First LPG gas fill
- 1 camping table and camping chairs
- Baby/Booster seat upon request with your booking
Until 31 Mar 08 the following applies:
35 - 49 days hire = 5%
50 - 99 days hire = 10%
NOTE: only valid in conjunction with Apollo's flex rates.
For 100+ days an additional discount may be applied. This needs to be specifically requested at the time of booking and is at Apollo's discretion
From 01 Apr 08 the following applies:
21-34 days hire = 8%
35+ days hire = 15%
NOTE: only valid in conjunction with Apollo's flex rates.
The long-hire discounts off the seasonal rates has already been factored into the seasonal rate table.
The discount variation has already been factored into the standard rental rates table.
The following conditions apply to multiple rentals:
- For customers who rent vehicles on separate occations within one holiday - whether in Australia or New Zealand or both together, the long-term hire discount applies for the total number of rental days.
- A better long-hire discount applies with the cumulative total number of rental days
- The payments made for the all inclusive option (can be booked in advance) and the excess reduction insurance options (available on pick-up) are still calculated individually, i.e. separately and rental for rental..
- If you drop off one vehicle and pick up another on the same day this day will still be calculated for each separate rental.
- The cheaper long-hire discount is deducted from the total price.
- The respective minimum hire period applies for each individual rental period.
- The one-way fee in Australia - however, is charged for each individual rental, as is the Broome surcharge.
One rental day corresponds to one calendar day, regardless of what time you pick up or drop off your vehicle.
For standard seasonal rate bookings the following applies: The total price is calculated on the basis of how many days within each respective price 'season' are included in the total rental period.
For flex rate bookings the following applies: The flex rate that is available at the time of booking for the first rental day determines the daily rental rate for the entire rental period up to the 35th day. Every rental day from the 36th day on are counted as a new booking and the flex rate that applies for the 36th day will be used from then on. The flex rate that applies for the 71st rental day will be used from then, etc.
To find out which flex rate is currently valid for the vehicle you are interested in, just click for a price calculation on www.motorhomebookers.com for the desired rental duration and the lowest available price will be applied. The flex rate is calculated by the rental company on the basis of supply and demand and is adjusted every Friday.
NOTE:
Bookings that have been made on the basis of the standard rental rates cannot be changed or cancelled and then changed to flex rates.
For flex rate bookings the following applies:
The booking is calculated by using either the original flex rate or the flex rate at the time of the booking change, depending on which rate is higher. The following situations are classified as booking alterations.
- Change of pick-up or drop-off date
- Change of pick-up or drop-off location (depot)
- Change of vehicle category
- Name change
If you decide to extend your hire by 2 days and this is approved (a change of drop-off date, not location or vehicle) the additional rental days will be charged according to the flex rate that applied when the booking was originally made. From 3 days or more the normal rules regarding changes apply as outlined above.
If a change is made to your booking with in 14 days of the pick-up date no rental days will be refunded if the hire is shortened. All rental days will be charged as originally booked.
The cancellation fees apply as stated in Motorhome Bookers' booking conditions.
If the vehicle is collected later than the pick-up day booked, or returned earlier than booked no refunds will be provided. There are also no refunds provided if the booking is shortened within 14 days of the pick-up date.
