The vehicle must be returned with a clean interior, otherwise a fee of AU$ 220 will be charged. Waste water tanks and toilets must be emptied prior to drop-off, otherwise another fee of AU$ 220 will be charged.
This option can only be booked in advance, is charged for a maximum of 50 rental days and cannot be purchased on arrival. There are no long-hire discounts off these supplementary rates.

In addition to the provisions in the base rental rate, this option includes:
- The 'Excess Reduction Option 2' insurance supplement
- No Worries Cover which eliminates the excess completely (insured damages only)
- 1 camping chair per person
- 1 camping table
- First LPG gas fill
- 1 baby/booster seat (this needs to be reserved in advance with your motorhome booking)
- For 4WD vehicles only: outback safety kit
Special 1:
For pick-ups after 01 Apr 07 that commence in Brisbane …
- and finish in Adelaide, Alice Springs, Darwin, Melbourne or Sydney, cheaper rates will apply. These lower rates will automatically be factored into any applicable online quotes you obtain on www.motorhomebookers.com.
This special can be combined with the long-hire discount, but not with other special offers. The all inclusive option or the Excess Reduction 2 insurance supplement are not charged for any more than 50 rental days.
Special 2:
For all one-off hires of 21 days or more the one-way fee will be waived (usally AU$ 220).
Special 3:
For all one-off hires with pick-up in Brisbane and drop-off in Sydney the one-way fee will be waived (usally AU$ 220). This special is not available for Spirit 4WD rentals (except if the rental is 21 days or more).
Special 4:
If you book two or more motorhome hires together (where the same time frame for each hire is close to the other) the one-way fees will be waived as long as at least one of the individual hires adds up to at least 21 days. These fees cannot be waived if none of the combined hires meets this requirement.
Our 'Driver goes free' Offer gives the driver of a Maui Motorhome free entry/a free ticket for a range of attractions throughout Australia. All you have to do is present your Motorhome Bookers voucher and your vehicle key and keyring each time in order to take advantage of this deal. This promotion applies as long as at least 2 adults (travelling together) visit the attraction together.

Total savings to be made with all attractions: AU$ 741.
- For 21 - 34 day rentals an 8% discount applies off the standard seasonal rental rates
- For 35 - 49 days: 15%
- For 50+ days an additional discount may be applied. This needs to be specifically requested at the time of booking and is at Maui's discretion
Note: the all inclusive option cannot be discounted.
Multiple Hires
For customers who rent vehicles on separate occations within one holiday - whether in Australia or New Zealand or in both destinations together, the cheaper long-hire discount applies for the total number of rental days.
For rentals that combine to a total of 21 rental days or more any applicable one-way fees for each rental will be charged. If one single rental is 21+ rental days then any applicable one-way fees for each rental will be waived.
However, the Broome surcharge in Australia is charged for each individual rental where Broome is a component of the booking.
If you drop off one vehicle and pick up the next vehicle on the same day you will only pay once for that day, i.e. the first day of the second rental day will be waived.
Payments made for the all inclusive option or locally purchased excess reduction insurance options are charged up until a maximum of 50 days for multiple hires.
For combined New Zealand and Australian hires the long-hire discount still applies off the daily rental rates. However, the Excess Reduction insurance or the All Inclusive Option are not combined such that each rental is calculated separately per country. In these cases the one-way fees are also calculated separately.
Each rental day corresponds to one calendar day, regardless of what time you collect or return the vehicle. The total price is calculated on the basis of how many days within each respective price 'season' are included in the total rental period.
The cancellation fees apply as stated in Motorhome Bookers' booking conditions.
If the vehicle is collected later than the pick-up day booked, or returned earlier than booked no refunds will be provided.
