* In Germany, there are several different types of insurance, i.e. the rental company has taken out separate insurance cover to protect the renter for freak damage where the driver is not at fault, third party cover for people/property and cover for damage to the rental vehicle.
**The compulsory vehicle preparation fee, includes the cost for cleaning the exterior of the vehicle and is included in our quotes/bookings. You are still required to return the motorhome with a clean interior, otherwise a fee of up to € 115 will be charged.
The toilet and waste water tanks have to be completely emptied by the time you drop off the vehicle, otherwise € 155 will be charged and further fees apply to cover the costs of emptying the waste water tank.
The compulsory vehicle preparation fee is automatically factored into the total price when you do an online quote / booking on the Motorhome Booker webpage.
The price per hire depends on which motorhome you choose and can be found on the 'Rates' page within the McRent section of our website.
This fee includes the following provisions:
- Standard equipment (for details on the contents refer to the section 'Equipment & Extras')
- First fill of the 2 propane gas bottles
- Initial provision of toilet chemicals
- External vehicle cleaning
- Fresh water tank purification
- Detailed 'show-through' of the vehicle at pick-up
The following long-hire discounts apply off the daily rental rates and will be automatically factored into the total price during the online price calculation on the Motorhome Bookers website:
- 3% for 21 - 30 day hires
- 5% for hires of 31 days or more
When calculating the total price all rental days are added up according to the number of days that fall within each 'season'. The pick-up and drop-off days are counted as one day in total as long as the sum of these two days does not exceed 24 hours, i.e. the rates are counted on a nightly basis in the same way that hotels do this. Every night is charged according to the season that applies to that night.
The cancellation fees apply as stated in Motorhome Bookers' booking conditions.
If the vehicle is collected later than the pick-up day booked, or returned earlier than booked no refunds will be provided.
