* The vehicle must be returned with a clean interior, otherwise a fee will be charged. Waste water tanks and toilets must be emptied prior to drop-off, otherwise further fees will be charged.
This option includes the following provisions in addition to those included in the base rental rate. You can view the price for this and add this to your booking in the online quote/booking process on our website. The Price is also shown on the 'Rates' page in the Kea Campers New Zealand section on our website.
It includes - in addition to the services provided in the base rental rate:
- Excess Reduction 2 insurance supplement (NIL excess)
- Camping table and chairs
- One-way fee
- Baby/Booster seats or baby capsules (if requested at time of booking)
- Rentals of 50 - 74 days = 4% discount (5% from 01 Apr 09).
- 75 - 99 days: 7% (10% from 01 Apr 09)
- 100 days or more: 10% (15% from 01 Apr 09)
The discounts are always deducted off the rates that apply for rentals between 28-49 days.
For rentals of 90 days or more please contact us to calculate the discount for you, as the online system does not allow for calculations of this size.
Insider Info: for long hires of 50 days or more it is better to simply book the standard rates and the 'Excess Reduction 2' insurance supplement which eliminates the excess, the camping table and chairs and (if required) child seats to be paid for locally rather than the all inclusive option with us. The additional insurance option is then only calculated for max. 50 days, whereas the all inclusive supplement is charged for every rental day regardless of the length of the rental period.
KEA provides our customers with the option of checking in with all details such as the driver names, etc before arriving for pick-up.
If you wish to save some time you can use the Online Check-In which allows you to enter all necessary information normally required at the check-in desk before you receive your vehicle.
Each rental day corresponds to one calendar day, regardless of what time you pick up or drop off the vehicle, i.e. the pick-up and drop-off days are calculated as 2 separate rental days, regardless of what time you collect or return the vehicle within the opening hours. The total price is calculated on the basis of how many days within each respective price 'season' are included in the total rental period.
The cancellation fees apply as stated in Motorhome Bookers' booking conditions.
If the vehicle is collected later than the pick-up day booked, or returned earlier than booked no refunds will be provided
