The vehicle must be returned with a clean interior, otherwise a fee of AU$ 220 will be charged. Waste water tanks and toilets must be emptied prior to drop-off, otherwise another fee of AU$ 220 will apply.
This option can only be booked in advance, is charged for a maximum of 50 rental days (30 days with Rookie Campervan hires) and cannot be purchased on arrival. There are no long-hire discounts off these supplementary rates.

It includes the following services on top of the provisions included in the standard rates:
1. For standard motorhomes, campervans and 4WD campers and the 'Rookie'::
- Excess Reduction Option 2
- No Worries Cover option which eliminates the excess completely (insured damages)
- 2.5% government stamp duty
- Personal kits for all passengers
2. For all vehicles except the 'Rookie':
- 1 camping chair per person
- 1 camping table
- First LPG gas fill
- 1 baby/booster seat - this needs to be reserved in advance when you make your booking
- For 4WD vehicles only: outback safety kit
For all Flex Rate hires that commence in Brisbane and finish in Sydney no one-way fee (usually AU$ 220) will be charged.
Our 'Driver goes free' Offer gives the driver of a Britz Campervan free entry/a free ticket for a range of attractions throughout Australia. All you have to do is present your Motorhome Bookers voucher and your vehicle key and keyring each time in order to take advantage of this deal. This promotion applies as long as at least 2 adults (travelling together) visit the attraction together.

Early Bookers always win with Motorhome Bookers
Motorhome Bookers and Britz Australia guarantee that when you book with us you will not find a lower flex level at a later date.
That means the earlier you book, the lower the flex levels will always be. Should you make a booking with us that quotes flex level D5 and 3 months later you see that we are offering the cheaper D1 flex level in our quotes we will give you the lower level - guaranteed.
Flex rates are updated according to supply and demand once a week.The Britz flex rate will be higher the later you book, i.e. early bookers always win with us.
Our flex rate guarantee is designed to put your mind at ease when booking with us.
- For 35 - 49 day rentals a 5% discount applies off the rental rates
- For 50+ days an additional discount may be applied. This needs to be specifically requested at the time of booking and is at Britz' discretion
Note: the all inclusive option cannot be discounted.
For customers who rent vehicles on separate occations within one holiday - whether in Australia or New Zealand or in both destinations together, the cheaper long-hire discount applies for the total number of rental days.
However, both the one-way fees and the Broome surcharge (where Broome is one of the pick-up or drop-off depots) is charged for each individual rental.
If you drop off one vehicle and pick up the next vehicle on the same day you will only pay once for that day, i.e. the cheaper of the two prices will be waived.
Payments made for the all inclusive option or locally purchased excess reduction insurance options are charged up until a maximum of 50 days (30 days in the case of the 'Rookie') for multiple hires that fall within one country only*.
For combined New Zealand and Australian hires the cheaper long-hire discount still applies for the total rental period. However, the Excess Reduction insurance or the All Inclusive Option are not combined, i.e. with these supplements each multiple hire is calculated separately per country. In these cases the one-way fees are also calculated separately.
* 'For combined 4WD Camper and normal motorhome hires the higher all inclusive option applies for up to 50 days maximum per country. In certain situations where very long hires are involved it can actually work out cheaper to simply pay the normal all inclusive rate for all days.
Each rental day corresponds to one calendar day, regardless of what time you collect or return the vehicle.
The flex rate that is available at the time of booking determines the daily rental rate. This price that applies from day one of your rental duration then applies for the entire rental period, i.e. you pay the flex rate multiplied by the number of days booked. As soon as you have booked, that rate is fixed, i.e. the price you pay per day will not change, even if the flex rates change at a later date.
To find out which flex rate is currently valid for the vehicle you are interested in, just click for a price calculation for your desired rental period. The base flex rate is calculated by the rental company on the basis of supply and demand and is adjusted every Friday.
For bookings of 5 vehicles or more or for long-term hires of 100 days or more we will need to place special request with Britz as there are other prices and conditions that apply in such cases. This also applies for multiple hires that add up to 100 days or more.
Note: If you decide to extend your rental duration before you actually collect your vehicle the same flex rate is used to calculate the additional rental days that applied on the day when you made your original booking as long as the original pick-up date is not changed. Moreover, if you decide to add the all inclusive option at a later date this can be done without changing the flex rate. For all other changes to your booking this will be calculated by using either the original flex rate or the flex rate that applies at the time of the booking change, depending on which rate is higher.
The following situations are classified as booking alterations.
- Change of date for vehicle pick-up or drop-off
- Change of location (depot) for vehicle pick-up or drop-off
- Change of vehicle category
- Name change
The cancellation fees apply as stated in Motorhome Bookers' booking conditions.
If the vehicle is collected later than the pick-up day booked, or returned earlier than booked no refunds will be provided.
