In the event of an accident, breakdown, technical difficulties (including problems with tyres) you are required to inform the rental company immediately on the toll-free service line provided. A nationwide network of contracted mechanics is available in such cases. Note: If you do not inform CanaDream immediately about the need for a repair and if the company is not given the opportunity to help you find you a solution no compensation will be provided.
If the vehicle is out of action (due to a mechanical breakdown*, not an accident) for longer than 48 hours - and this is not the fault of the renter, CanaDream will reimburse actual costs up to a maximum of CA$ 3,000 if agreed in advance.
*Mechanical breakdown: CanaDream does not provide compensation for damage or problems to the following items: problems with radio/CD player, microwave, air conditioning, all appliances, water pump, shower and toilet, generator, slide out, automatic steps, cruise control and GPS (where provided).
Pets or other animals are not permitted in the rental vehicles. Smoking is also not permitted in the vehicles. CanaDream will charge a fee of CA$ 300 for non-compliance.
If you plan to take your motorhome on a ferry we strongly suggest that you book this well in advance. We recommend you book a space on the ferry for a vehicle up to 27ft in size even if you book a smaller vehicle, just in case you are upgraded at the depot to a larger vehicle. For information on the ferry through the Inside Passage and other routes, please visit BC FERRIES, where you can also make a direct booking.
All information provided has been put together by us (Motorhome Bookers Ltd) in as much detail as possible and on the basis of the information made available to us. This information has been taken from the rental company's conditions which they have provided to us. Any additional conditions are included in the rental agreement which is entered into by yourself and the rental company. You will receive the complete list of rental conditions with your rental agreement, which you sign when you collect your vehicle. We don't accept responsibility for any differences that come to light between our list of conditions and those of the rental company.
