* The vehicle must be returned with a clean interior and waste water tanks and toilets must be emptied prior to drop-off, otherwise fees of up to R/N$ 500 will be charged.
This option can only be booked in advance and includes the following provisions in addition to those already included in the rental rates:
- Excess reduction 2 insurance supplement with NIL excess (see 'insurance' section for excluded damages)
- Sun umbrella
- Baby/Booster seat (must be reserved at the time of booking)
- Vehicle preparation fee
- 4% discount for hires between 50 - 74 days
- 7% discount for hires between 75 - 99 days
- 10% discount for hires of 100 days or more
These discounts are deducted from the price that applies for 35 - 49 day hires.
Insider Info:
For long hires of 50 days or more it is better to simply book the standard rates and then wait until pick-up time before purchasing the 'Excess Reduction 2' insurance supplement which eliminates the excess, the camping table and chairs and (if required) child seats. The additional insurance option is then only calculated for max. 50 days, whereas the all inclusive supplement is charged for every rental day regardless of the length of the rental period.
For customers who rent vehicles on separate occations within one holiday the long-hire discount applies for the total number of rental days.
- On the other hand, the payments made for the all inclusive option and the excess reduction insurance options are calculated individually, i.e. separately and rental for rental, although KEA charges a maximum of 50 days for the additional insurance if you purchase this instead of the all inclusive at the depot, even if the rental lasts for 60, 70 or more days.
- For combined rentals in South Africa and Namibia*:
the supplementary insurance options or the all inclusive option are not cumulated, but rather are calculated separately and rental for rental.
* A 5-day minimum hire applies to each separate hire.
Each rental day corresponds to one calendar day, regardless of what time you pick up or drop off the vehicle, i.e. the pick-up and drop-off days are calculated as 2 separate rental days, regardless of what time you collect or return the vehicle during opening hours. The total price is calculated on the basis of how many days within each respective price 'season' are included in the total rental period.
The cancellation fees apply as stated in Motorhome Bookers' booking conditions.
If the vehicle is collected later than the pick-up day booked or returned earlier than booked no refunds will be provided.
