*drop your vehicle at any KEA depot for a free check-up. This service is only available for hires of 14 days or more and if you make an appointment at least 48 hours in advance.
The vehicle must be returned with a clean interior, otherwise a fee will be charged. Waste water tanks and toilets must be emptied prior to drop-off, otherwise further fees will be charged.
This option includes the following provisions in addition to those included in the base rental rate:
- Gold Cover Liability Reduction with NIL excess
- Camping table, chairs and sun umbrella
- Multilingual GPS navigation system
- Snow Chains (on request)
- One-way fee
- Baby/Booster seats (on request)
- Toll road charges
You can view the price for this and add this to your booking in the online quote/booking process on our website. The price for this supplement is shown on the 'Rates' page in the Kea Campers New Zealand section on our website and it is only payable to a maximum of 50 days.
- 50 - 99 days: 5%
The discounts are always deducted off the rates that apply for rentals between 28-49 days.
For rentals 100 days or longer, please contact us to calculate the discount for you, as the online system does not allow for this
calculation.
You will receive a 5% discount off the Standard rates if you book 120 prior to vehicle pick-up. The discount does not apply off the All Inclusive option.
For customers who rent vehicles on separate occations within one holiday - whether in Australia or New Zealand or both - the long-hire discount applies for the total number of rental days.
However, the payments made for the All Inclusive option and the excess reduction insurance options are calculated individually. KEA charges either supplement for a maximum of 50 days, even if the rental lasts for 60, 70 or more days.
If the drop-off of one vehicle and pick-up of another vehicle occurs on the same day, then this day will be charged twice, once per respective vehicle.
KEA provides our customers with the option of checking in with all details such as the driver names, etc before arriving for pick-up.
If you wish to save some time you can use the Online Check-In which allows you to enter all necessary information normally required at the check-in desk before you receive your vehicle.
Each rental day corresponds to one calendar day, regardless of what time you pick up or drop off the vehicle, i.e. the pick-up and drop-off days are calculated as 2 separate rental days, regardless of what time you collect or return the vehicle within the opening hours. The total price is calculated on the basis of how many days within each respective price 'season' are included in the total rental period.
The cancellation fees apply as stated in Motorhome Bookers' booking conditions.
If the vehicle is collected later than the pick-up day booked, or returned earlier than booked no refunds will be provided
