Valid for hires between 01 Oct 12 - 30 Sep 13, last update 29 May 13
All vehicles are permitted for use on sealed and well developed public roads. easygo does also permit travel on unsealed roads (gravel roads) in New Zealand but with the following exceptions: Ninety Mile Beach (Northland), roads north of Colville as well as the Tapu-Coroglen Road (Coromandel), Ball Hutt Road (Mt. Cook), Skippers Road (Queenstown) as well as any private roads with restricted access.
The renter is liable of any damage that is incurred on any of these unpermitted routes or other prohibited areas, including any costs for breakdowns or accidents and the resulting need for towing or vehicle recovery services and no insurance cover is provided. The vehicle is also not allowed to come in contact with salt water, otherwise the insurance is null and void.
One-way rentals (i.e. vehicle pick-up at depot 'A' and drop-off at depot 'B') are available between all depots in New Zealand with all vehicle models upon request in advance with your booking.
NOTE: For hires where you travel between Christchurch and Auckland but wish to drop the vehicle off in Picton and pick up a new vehicle in Wellington (or vice versa) as part of an overall rental between Christchurch and Auckland this will be treated as two separate rentals and the vehicle changeover day will be charged as two separate rental days due to the staff time involved at the rental depots. A minimum hire of 7 days applies for each separate rental and long-hire discounts only apply for each individual rental.
