The vehicle must be returned with a clean interior, otherwise a fee of NZ$ 220 will be charged. Waste water tanks and toilets must be emptied prior to drop-off, otherwise an additional fee of NZ$
125 will apply.
This option can only be booked in advance, is charged for a maximum of 50 rental days and cannot be purchased on arrival. No long-hire discounts will be deducted off the All Inclusive premium.

In addition to the provisions already included in the standard rates, this supplement includes:
- Liability Reduction 2 insurance supplement which eliminates the excess for insured damages
- One-way fee, if applicable
- Road User Charge Recovery Fee
- Pre-purchase LPG gas (PGO)
- 1 camping chair per person
- 1 camping table per vehicle
- Baby/booster seats if required (please reserve these in advance)
- Snow chains if requested with booking
- Portable heater if requested with booking
- GPS
For all one-way bookings for travel between the North and South Island or vice versa where the travel date falls between 01 Apr - 30 Sep the one-way fee will be waived (saving you NZ$ 300).
With one-way hires between Auckland and Wellington (and vice versa) or Christchurch and Queenstown (or vice versa) the one-way fee of NZ$ 300 will be waived during the entire season.
The following Long Hire Discounts apply:
- For 21 - 34 day rentals, a 8% discount applies off the standard seasonal rental rates
- For 35+ days hire, a 15% applies.
Note: the all inclusive option cannot be discounted.
Multiple Hires
For customers who rent vehicles on separate occations - with either Maui, Britz or both - within one holiday - whether in Australia, New Zealand or South Africa or in all three destinations together, the cheaper long-hire discount applies for the total number of rental days as long as the pick-up dates for each individual hire are within 3 months of each other.
For all rentals to qualify, all bookings need to be made at the same time. If a customer makes another booking at a later time, the new booking can be added to qualify if the vehicle collection date/s are within a 3-month period. However, the original booking/s will only qualify for a discount if the pick-up date for the original booking has not already passed.
One-way fees are charged for each individual rental, as are any applicable surcharges for hires in Wellington and Queenstown.
If you drop off one vehicle and pick up the next vehicle on the same day, you will only pay once for that day, i.e. the cheaper of the two days will not be charged.
Payments made for the all inclusive option or locally purchased Liability Reduction insurance options are charged up to a maximum of 50 days for multiple hires that fall within one country (the more expensive of the two all inclusive supplements will be applied if there is a variation).
For combined New Zealand and Australian hires the long-hire discount still applies off the daily rental rates. However, the Liability Reduction insurance or the All Inclusive Option are not combined, i.e. each cumulative hire is calculated separately per country. In these cases the one-way fees are also calculated separately per hire.
In the instance where a Maui hire is being combined with a Britz hire and the packages have the All Inclusive supplements, these supplements cannot be combined to have a maximum charge applied, however the vehicle rate can have a long-term discount applied where applicable.
If multiple hires total more than 100 days these rates and terms do not apply. Requests for quotes/bookings of more than 100 days need to be specifically requested by contacting us first.
Vehicle security deposits can be transferred between most multiple rentals. This service is available when the booked products are motorhomes and the vehicle security deposit amount is the same.
Each rental day corresponds to one calendar day, regardless of what time you collect or return the vehicle. With Maui, the total price is calculated on the basis of how many days within each respective price 'season' are included in the total rental period.
For bookings of 5 vehicles or more or for long-term hires of 100 days or more, we will need to place special requests with Maui as there are other prices and conditions that apply in such cases. This also applies for multiple hires that add up to 100 days or more.
The cancellation fees apply as stated in the Motorhome Bookers booking conditions.
If the vehicle is collected later than the pick-up day booked, or returned earlier than booked no refunds will be provided.
