The interior of the vehicle is expected to be in a clean state at drop-off time, otherwise a one-off fee of up to US$ 500 will be charged. The toilet and waste water tank must be emptied prior to the return of the vehicle and all fuel tanks need to be full, otherwise a further fee of US$ 150 will be charged.
This option can only be booked in advance, is charged for a maximum of 40 rental days and cannot be purchased on arrival.

In addition to the provisions included in the base rental rates, this option includes:

21-34 day hires = 5%
35+ day hires = 10%
Note:
- These discounts do not apply to the mileage packages
- Multiple hires are eligible for the long hire discount
- There are no further long hire discounts available on flex rates
The following conditions apply to multiple rentals:
Consecutive rentals can be combined to qualify for a long-hire discount rate. Rentals in the United
States of America, Australia and New Zealand with Star RV, Apollo and/or Cheapa Campa can be combined to obtain a long-term discount rate, providing travel is within a 3 month period. If drop off of a vehicle and pick up of a new vehicle occurs on the same day then a day each will be charged per respective vehicle. Multiple rentals are treated as separate rentals under the one way fee and minimum rental period conditions. Payments made for the All Inclusive option booked in advance and the Excess Reduction insurance options available on pick-up are calculated individually, i.e. rental by rental.
For flex rate bookings the following applies: The flex rate that is available at the time of booking for the first rental day determines the daily rental rate for the entire rental period up to the 35th day. Every rental day from the 36th day on are counted as a new booking and the flex rate that applies for the 36th day will be used from then on, and the flex rate that applies for the 71st rental day will be used from then, etc.
Pick-up and drop-off days are counted as one day in total, i.e. each rental night is used for the price calculation in the same way as is done by hotels. To find out which flex rate is currently valid for the vehicle you are interested in, just click for a price calculation for the desired rental duration. The flex rate is calculated by the rental company on the basis of supply and demand and is adjusted every Friday.
Note: If you wish to make any changes to your booking, the booking will be re-calculated using either the original flex rate or the flex rate at the time of the booking change, depending on which rate is higher.
The following situations are classified as booking alterations.
- Change of date for vehicle pick-up or drop-off
- Change of location (depot) for vehicle pick-up or drop-off
- Change of vehicle category
- Name change
If you decide to extend your rental duration by 2 days to a date that is later than the original drop-off date, the same flex rate is used that applied on the day when you made your original booking. If you extend this by 3 days or more, the booking change rule applies as outlined above.
If an amendment is made to the rental dates within 14 days of collection, no refund will be made if the length of hire is shortened (i.e. the rental will be charged at the number of days originally booked). There is no refund for late pick up or early return of vehicle. A relocation fee may apply if the collection or return location is amended within 14 days of vehicle pick up or if notification occurs during the hire.
The cancellation fees apply as stated in Motorhome Bookers' booking conditions.
If the vehicle is collected later than the pick-up day booked, or returned earlier than booked, no refunds will be provided.
There are also no refunds for rental date changes or if the rental duration is shortened within 14 days of the pick-up date.
