The rental company reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee with vehicles are returned with an excessively dirty interior. The toilet and waste water tank (if the rental vehicle has these) must be emptied or a further fee will be charged. Propane gas and fuel tanks must also be returned full or another fee will be applied. The maximum amount of each fee is US$ 250 (US$ 500 if you hire during the period of the 'Burning Man' event in Nevada in late August / early September).

For flex rate bookings the following applies: The flex rate that is available at the time of booking for the first rental day determines the daily rental rate for the entire rental period up to the 35th day. Every rental day from the 36th day on are counted as a new booking and the flex rate that applies for the 36th day will be used from then on, and the flex rate that applies for the 71st rental day will be used from then, etc.
Pick-up and drop-off days are counted as one day in total, i.e. each rental night is used for the price calculation in the same way this is done by hotels. To find out which flex rate is currently valid for the vehicle you are interested in, just click for a price calculation for the desired rental duration. The flex rate is calculated by the rental company on the basis of supply and demand and is adjusted every Monday.
Note: If you wish to make any changes to your booking the booking will be calculated by using either the original flex rate or the flex rate at the time of the booking change, depending on which rate is higher.
The following situations are classified as booking alterations.
- Vehicle collection date change
- Change of date for vehicle pick-up or drop-off
- Change of location (depot) for vehicle pick-up or drop-off
- Change of vehicle category
- Name change
If you decide to extend your rental duration by 2 days to a date that is later than the original drop-off date, the same flex rate is used that applied on the day when you made your original booking. If you extend this by 3 days or more, the booking change rule applies as outlined above.
The cancellation fees apply as stated in Motorhome Bookers' booking conditions.
If the vehicle is collected later than the pick-up day booked, or returned earlier than booked no refunds will be provided.
