As the low-cost brand of Apollo Motorhome Holidays, Cheapa Campa offers campervans that have been retired from the Apollo fleet at reduced prices. Hires are available from eight depots throughout Australia and provide a great opportunity for parties of any size to explore the country at low cost.
Vehicle Fleet
Choose from seven models in the Cheapa Campa fleet. All models are between 3 and 6 years old and routinely serviced by knowledgeable staff.

Post-hire cleaning costs:
The interior of the vehicle is expected to be in a clean state at drop-off time, otherwise fees of up to AU$ 200 will be charged. The toilet and waste water tank must be emptied prior to the return of the vehicle and all fuel tanks (i.e. petrol, diesel and gas) need to be full, otherwise a further fee of AU$ 150 will be charged. All vehicles must be completely free of mud. Smoking is not permitted in any of the vehicles or a cleaning & deodorising process will be charged at a certain amount.
This option can only be booked in advance and cannot be purchased on arrival. There are no long-hire discounts off these supplementary rates, however, the maximum number of days that you will have to pay the All Inclusive option is for 50 days. In addition to the provisions in the standard rental rates, this option includes:

The discount does not apply to the All Inclusive surcharge, only to the standard rates.
The following conditions apply to multiple rentals:
-The rental company happily rewards its long term renters with consecutive rentals within a 3 month period in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, UK and Ireland for Apollo, Bunk Campers, CanaDream, Cheapa Campa and Hippie Camper. However, liability reduction insurance or the all-inclusive option are not added up, but are calculated separately for all rental days and for each country.
- The long-hire discount applies to the total number of rental days
- Travel is within a 3 months period and needs to be booked together
- The payments made for the All-Inclusive option (can be booked in advance) and the excess reduction insurance options (available on pick-up) are still calculated individually, i.e. rental by rental.
- If you drop off one vehicle and pick up another on the same day, this day will still be calculated for each separate rental.
- The cheaper long-hire discount is deducted from the total price.
- The respective minimum hire period applies for each individual rental period.
- The one-way fee in Australia is charged for each individual rental such as location surcharges.
One rental day corresponds to one calendar day, regardless of what time you pick up or drop off your vehicle.
The flex rate that is available at the time of booking for the first rental day determines the daily rental rate for the entire rental period up to the 7h day. Every rental day from the 8th day on are counted as a new booking and the flex rate that applies for the 8th day will be used from then on. The flex rate that applies for the 15th rental day will be used from then, etc.
To find out which flex rate is currently valid for the vehicle you are interested in, just click for a price calculation for the desired rental duration and the lowest available price will be applied. The flex rate is calculated by the rental company on the basis of supply and demand and is adjusted every Friday.
For changes to flex rate bookings the following applies:
The booking is calculated by using either the original flex rate or the flex rate at the time of the booking change, depending on which rate is higher. The following situations are classified as booking alterations.
- Change of pick-up or drop-off date
- Change of pick-up or drop-off location (depot)
- Change of vehicle category
- Name change
- Change of flex rates or introduction of special offers afterwards
If you decide to extend your hire by 2 days and this is approved (a change of drop-off date, not location or vehicle) the additional rental days will be charged according to the flex rate that applied when the booking was originally made. From 3 days or more the normal rules regarding changes apply as outlined above.
If a change is made to your booking with in 14 days of the pick-up date no rental days will be refunded if the hire is shortened. All rental days will be charged as originally booked.
The cancellation fees apply as stated in Motorhome Bookers' booking conditions.
If the vehicle is collected later than the pick-up day booked, or returned earlier than booked, no refunds will be provided. There are also no refunds provided if the booking is shortened within 14 days of the pick-up date.

One-way rentals (= pick-up at location 'A' and drop-off at location 'B') between all Australian depots and in all vehicle categories are possible upon request with your booking. (some exceptions possible)
A one-way fee between AU$ 175 or AU$ 260 is charged for all one way rentals. Please note that special minimum hire conditions apply.

A surcharge of AU$ 800 applies if you pick up and/or drop off your vehicle in Broome. This surcharge is always charged in addition to any one-way fees that may apply.
Cheapa Campa offers extended Roadside Assistance, which you could add during the booking process, which includes:
- Opening vehicle on lock out
- Lost key replacement up to AU$ 120
- Emergency towing (first 25 km included)
- Jump start
- Flat tyre change using spare located in vehicle
- On scene fuel delivery (up to 20 litres)
- Call out fee up to AU$ 150
Please note that basic Roadside Assistance is always included in your rental package. In case of a breakdown, you will receive assistance even if you do not buy supplementary Roadside Assistance. However, the extra services listed above are only available if you purchase supplementary Roadside Assistance coverage and will incur a minimum AU$ 100 call-out fee with the standard program.
Baby/child and booster seats can be hired from Cheapa Campa per seat and rental. If you book the All Inclusive option with us, these seats are included in the total price (pending availability, if requested with the booking and as long as the seats are suitable for the vehicle in question only).
If you require a baby/child seat or booster seat please let us know the child's age and weight when you book. You need to book the seats in advance.
Baby/child or booster seats cannot be fitted to the vehicle types Hitop, 2-Berth motorhomes or 4WD vehicles.

The local GST (Goods & Services Tax) is included in all payments made to us.
For all amounts payable locally in AU$ the following sales taxes are charged on top of the base price: 10% GST, 3% administration fee.
We have sought to provide accurate information on taxes. However, we do not accept responsibility for any changes such as new additional fees charged by the rental company at pick-up time or local tax increases made by the local or federal Australian government.
The standard insurance with insurance cover up to AU$ 10 million and an excess of AU$ 3,500 (Hitop, Endeavour vehicles), AU$ 5,000 (2-, 4- and 6-Berth vehicles) or AU$ 8,000 (all 4WD vehicles) per incident is included in the rental rates. This provides cover for damage to the rental vehicle or to third-party property. The renter and passengers are not insured for bodily damage to themselves as there is no passenger insurance provided by Cheapa.
The renter's excess that comes with the standard insurance is AU$ 3,500 (Hitop, Endeavour vehicles), AU$ 5,000 (2-, 4- and 6-Berth vehicles) or AU$ 8,000 (all 4WD vehicles) per incident for any property damage incurred by a third party or the rental vehicle, regardless of how the damage occurs or who causes it, which includes accidents that are no fault of the renter. Any damage to the windscreen or tyres will need to be paid by the renter in full.

In Australia third-party insurance is not compulsory. Therefore, in the event of an accident involving an uninsured driver or if a third party flees the scene of an accident the renter will be liable up to the level of the excess even if he/she is not at fault.
You can reduce or eliminate the excess as follows.
- You can book the All Inclusive Option with us in advance (not available locally) which includes the Liability Reduction Option 2/"The High Road" with NIL excess
- You can select one of the following excess reduction insurance options with Cheapa Campa locally:

4WD Additional Cover:
This additional cover for AU$ 299 is available for hires of the Cheapa 4WD Camper vehicles when either Liability Reduction Option 2/"The High Road" or the All Inclusive option have been purchased. Coverage with this offer will protect the renter for:
- Accidental damage to the overhead and underbody sections
- Unlimited tyre and windscreen cover
- Damage to the awning
- Towing and vehicle recovery costs from 4WD roads where permission from Cheapa to travel on these roads has been granted
- Unlimited kilometres
- NIL excess (with deposit of AU$ 500)
- Single vehicle rollover
The respective excess is payable for any damage to the rental vehicle including damage to third party property, in the event of theft, fire, break-ins, vandalism as well as loss of revenue incurred by Cheapa if the vehicle is unable to be rented out due to necessary repairs.
If renting a 2WD vehicle damages to the overhead and undercarriage are insured with the All Inclusive Option.
Tyre damage or damage to the windscreen will need to be paid by the renter in full unless the 4WD Additional Cover has been booked in addition to the All Inclusive Option.
There is no insurance cover whatsover if the vehicle is wilfully damaged, damaged due to negligence on the part of the rental party or due to illegal activities or forbidden activities as per the rental agreement. Please refer to the section 'Insurance Exclusions' below for further details.
With the standard insurance the deposit, which covers the amount of the excess of the insurance option you have chosen, is deducted from a credit card at pick-up. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club cards are accepted. Pre-paid credit cards, travellers cheques or cash will not be accepted.
The credit card holder must be present to sign for this and he/she is responsible for any damage to the rental vehicle. The deposit can also only be provided by the renter and not split several ways between members of the travelling party.
If you take just the Liability Reduction Option 1 the deposit will be deducted from your credit card. If you choose the Liability Reduction Option 2 (VIP Cover) at pick-up time or you purchase the All Inclusive Option with Motorhome Bookers in advance, the deposit of AU$ 250 (or AU$ 500 for 4WD campers) will be charged.
NOTE: Please ensure that you have sufficient funds on your credit card before departure.
If the vehicle is returned without damage or third party incident the full amount of the deposit will be reimbursed. The refund can take up to 14 working days. Any changes in foreign exchange rates or fees are borne by the renter. All credit card deductions are made in Australian Dollars. Neither the rental company nor the tour operator is liable to make up any differences that occur between the cost of a deducted deposit and the reimbursement which result from foreign exchange fluctuations or external fees.
The deposit will be reimbursed in full as long as the vehicle is returned in the same condition in which it was collected and with full petrol/diesel and gas tanks. The rental company reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee if the interior of the vehicle is excessively dirty at drop-off. The toilet and waste water tank must be completely empty, otherwise a further fee will be charged. Please refer to the section 'Miscellaneous' / 'Post-hire Cleaning' for further details.
In the event of damage to the rented vehicle or to property of a third party a new deposit will be taken in order to cover any further separate incidents of damage.
If an accident occurs, the deposit banked to cover the excess in the first instance regardless of who is at fault and is owed to the rental company by the renter even if the damage was not caused by you and is refunded as soon as the rental company receives a payment from a third party. This can of course take some time.
In Australia, third party liabitily insurance is not compulsory. If you have an accident with an uninsured driver or the other person flees the scene of the accident you will be liable for the sum of the excess. The excess applicable for the insurance options mentioned above apply to each individual incident and not on a per-rental basis. If a second accident occurs, a further deposit of the same total will be payable.
All insurance cover is null and void if the terms of the Cheapa Campa Australia rental agreement are breached. Any damage that is caused when the renter acts outside of the rental company conditions is not covered by the insurance. Any damage resulting from a violation of traffic regulations is also not covered by insurance.
Any damage caused by the vehicle rolling over (single vehicle accident) or water and/or saltwater related damage where the renter is at fault is not covered by the insurance. The insurance does not cover damage in case of vehicle submersion, the vehicle being stranded in water, or resulting from driving on causeways or beach driving.
A vehicle rollover is deemed to have occurred where damage to the vehicle results from the vehicle rolling or tipping to such a degree that any or all tyres lose normal contact with the road surface.
Any personal property that is damaged or stolen during an accident, vandalism or a theft is not insured. Private insurance should be purchased in your home country to cover any such issues. In order to avoid theft of personal items from the vehicle it is advised not to leave any valuable items in the vehicle.
In the cases listed below, the renter is fully liable for damage to the rental vehicle and third-party property, i.e. no insurance cover whatsoever is provided:
- Vehicle submersion or the vehicle being stranded in a water area
- Saltwater-related damage
- Damage resulting from creek or river crossings, driving on causeways or beach driving
- Recovery cost of the vehicle if it is bogged
- Damage caused whilst the vehicle is being transported over water
- Activities that breach the rental agreement conditions or are against the law, e.g. driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol or dangerous driving (especially with regard to trailers and camping appendages). Here, the renter is liable for the full amount of damage caused either to the rented vehicle or to the property of a third party involved.
- Damage caused by the use of the wrong fuel or if water or oil, etc are not topped up to minimum required levels (causing overheating, frost damage, etc) or where warning signals in the vehicle are ignored
- Costs that arise for towing and recovery of vehicles that have been stranded or submerged as a result of the driver's negligence.
- Any costs associated with losing the fuel, oil or water caps and items in the convenience kits
- Any costs associated with damage or accidents caused by falling asleep whilst driving
- Repairs and towing costs that are incurred because of driving on restricted roads or areas
- Damage caused by false use of snow chains
- Costs for vehicle keys that have either been lost or locked in the vehicle
- If anyone who is not registered in the rental agreement drives the car
- Damage to awnings (if no 4WD additional cover was booked, only possible with 4WD vehicles)
- Damage to undercarriage and overhead (unless the All Inclusive Option was booked)
- Damage caused by the single vehicle rolling over (if no 4WD additional cover was booked, only possible with 4WD vehicles)
- Personal property that is damaged in an accident or is either stolen or damaged during theft is also not insured
- Wilful damage or damage caused by negligence
- Damage to windscreen and tyre damage (if no 4WD additional cover was booked, only possible with 4WD vehicles)
Whilst we appreciate accidents may occur, there are also clearly cases of driver negligence where any insurance coverage is voided. This would include incidents where the driver is found to be in breach of the law in terms of speed, alcohol, drugs, or is found by the police or investigating authority to have been driving in a dangerous or negligent manner. In all such instances, Cheapa reserves the right to pursue full recovery from the renter.
All credit card payments that you make locally at the rental company depot are made in Australian Dollars.
All payments made by credit card locally at pick-up time i.e. for extras/additional items the following surcharges will incur and are non-refundable:
- Visa Credit or Mastercard Credit card: 1.62%
- American Express/Diners Club: 2.80%
For security reasons, Apollo will only accept credit cards for rental/extras charges paid on vehicle pick-up or drop-off. Cash payments will not be accepted at any branch. The bond is only payable at pick-up by credit card and cannot be paid with a pre-paid credit card.
Neither the rental company nor the tour operator is liable to pay any cost differences that occur between the cost of the deducted deposit and the reimbursement as a result of foreign exchange fluctuations or bank charges.
Where speeding tickets and toll way or parking fines and/or accidents (e.g. that have not been mentioned to the rental company) come to light the rental company reserves the right to invoice the customer for these costs in arrears. In addition to these costs, Cheapa Campa reserves the right to charge for associated administration costs processing the fines.
The insurance options offered by the rental company do not include luggage insurance, nor do they include cover for any damage to the driver or passengers. It is therefore recommended that you obtain travel insurance that covers accidents, sickness and loss of luggage prior to departure.
A current and full motor vehicle driver licence is required to be shown at pick-up and all drivers need to be present. If the driver licence is not in English then an accredited English translation or an International Driver Permit is required. For travel in the Northern Territory, an International Driving Permit is required along with the foreign driver licence. Digital Driver licences are not accepted!
Every driver is required to have held a valid and full driving licence for at least 2 years prior to the pick-up date. The driving licence must be valid for the whole length of the rental.
Note: UK driver licences that have had approved extensions by the UK DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licencing Agency) can still travel for up to 11 months past the licence expiry. This extension only applies to full GB driving licence holders. It does not apply to provisional driving licence entitlement.
The minimum age for the renter and other registered drivers is 21 years.
Additional drivers can be registered at pick-up time for a fee of AU$ 3 per rental day and driver (max. AU$ 45 per rental and driver). This is free with the All Inclusive option. Anyone wishing to drive the motorhome must have their details entered in the rental agreement.
Before you can collect your vehicle you are required to present a valid driving licence, credit card, your passport as well as the Motorhome Bookers voucher at the depot.
Please note carefully the maximum number of passengers allowed per vehicle as per the details provided when you click on the picture of your vehicle and view the vehicle specifications on our website. Please also inform us if there is a change in the number of people travelling in your party.

Minimum rental periods are subject to change during other peak periods.
Any rental that consists of 4 or more vehicles travelling together is considered a group booking and has to be requested with Cheapa Campa in advance. Please contact us directly if you wish to book more than 3 vehicles for the same time period.
General vehicle equipment is included with all vehicles: clothes pegs, clothes line, dustpan and brush, fire extinguisher, bucket, fresh water hose, broom. Provided in 4WD Cheapa campers only is a personal locater beacon.
Kitchen kit is included with all vehicles: plates, bowls, knives, forks, spoons, bottle opener, can opener, mixing bowls, colander, saucepans, frying pans, and cooking utensils, chopping board, kettle, teapot, toaster and tea towel. Electrical appliances are supplied in vehicles that have 240V.
Personal kits are also included in the standard rental rates: sheets, blankets, pillows, pillowcases and towels.
A first-aid kit is provided in every Cheapa vehicle. If the seal is opened and you use it the kit becomes your property and AU$ 50 will be charged for it at drop-off.
The following extras are not included in the standard rental rates but can be rented additionally (pending availability). We recommend to reserve these items in advance:
- Camping table: per rental
- Camping chair: per chair and rental
- Camp Chair & Table Bundle (6 chairs & 1 table): per rental
- Camp Chair & Table Bundle (2 chairs & 1 table): per rental

*Drop & Go Service (post-hire cleaning fee): Simply return the vehicle neat and tidy and Cheapa will take care of the rest including vehicle, cabin and bathroom cleaning (this does not include emptying the toilette cassette and the grey water tank).
The full propane gas cylinder is not included in the base rental rate. The following procedure applies at pick-up time.
At the beginning of your rental period all vehicles are provided with a full gas cylinder and you will be charged the following at pick-up time:
- AU$ 25 for Hitop, Endeavour, 2-Berth vehicles
- AU$ 35 for 4-Berth and 6-Berth vehicles
The gas cylinder can be returned empty when you return the vehicle.
Baby/child seats and booster seats are compulsory in Australia for children up to 7 years of age. Seats that are only attached to the frame of the vehicle (such as the middle seat in the front of most motorhomes) are illegal. It is not permitted to use child seats from UK/Europe or other countries that do not have the appropriate connection apparatus for motorhomes. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted to sit in the front of any vehicle.
You can rent baby/child seats (suitable for children between 6 months and 4 years old) and booster seats (suitable for children 4 - 7 years of age and/or 14 to 26 kg weight) per unit per rental. This is a one-off payment and is valid for the entire rental period. Baby/child and booster seats must be booked in advance. If you book the All-Inclusive option with us these seats are included in the total price (must be prebooked, pending availability).
Please provide us with the age(s) and weight(s) of your child(ren) when you make your booking so that we can book the appropriate seat for you.
Only the following seat configurations are possible:
Hitop, 2-Berth or 4WD vehicle: NO baby/child or booster seat possible
Endeavour, 4-Berth, 6-Berth: 2 baby/child seats or 2 booster seats or 1 baby/child seat + 1 booster seat
According to Australian law, baby and booster seats have to be fitted in the rear of the vehicle and are not allowed on the front seats.
Driving area 2WD:
All non-four-wheel drive vehicles (2WD) may only be driven on tarred public roads or driveways (e.g. to campgrounds). The "unpaved" access to campgrounds may not be longer than 5 km for motorhomes and campers.
Vehicles may be driven on islands with prior written approval from Cheapa.
The following provisions also apply to all non-four-wheel drive vehicles (2WD):
Not allowed for 2WD:
-all beaches
-unpaved roads longer than 5 km
-Generally not allowed in Queensland: Fraser Island and Moreton Island
Permitted only with prior written approval from Rental Company Cheapa for 2WD:
- all islands, including Tasmania and Bruny Island
- in Queensland: north of Laura/Cooktown, North Stradbroke Island and Magnetic Island
- in South Australia: Kangaroo Island
- Northern Territory for all Hitop vehicles
Otherwise applies: There is no insurance cover for journeys on unpaved roads, and any damage caused as a result is fully at the expense of the renter. It is imperative that you let us know your desired itinerary when booking so we can forward it to Cheapa for approval. Due to the road and weather conditions, final approval will only be given upon takeover.
The 4WD vehicles may also be driven on unpaved roads or tracks as long as they are mapped, signposted and clearly recognizable. Driving in certain areas and on certain routes is only ever permitted with the express written permission of Apollo, this includes e.g. B. Travel to islands and the following regions:
-Queensland: Burke Development Road from Chillagoe to Normanton, Cape York north of Laura/Cooktown, Savannah Way (Normanton to Borroloola), Bloomfield Track, Sandover Highway, Frenchman Track, Starcke Track
-South Australia: Oodnadatta Track, Simpson Desert, Strzelecki Track and Gunbarrel Highway
-Tasmania: Tasman Island

The lessee bears the full risk for journeys to these, if no permit has been obtained, or other remote areas; no insurance is liable and there is no insurance cover for each individual offence. Any damage caused as a result is fully at the expense of the renter, e.g. damage to the windscreen or tires. Towing costs are the full responsibility of the renter and there is a penalty fee of AU$300 per incident.
None of the vehicles may be driven on any beaches or in the following regions:
-Queensland: Fraser Island, Moreton Island, Old Telegraph Road en route to Cape York, CREB Track, Cape York between 01 Dec. and 31 May
-West Australia: Old Gunbarrel Highway, Canning Stock Route
-Northern Territory: Boggy Hole in Finke Gorge National Park, Central Arnhem Road (to Barunga), Lost City in Litchfield Park, Old South Road from Mayrvale to Finke.
Trips to Cape York are between 1 Dec and 31 May. not allowed, during the rest of the year written permission must be obtained in advance!
For trips to these or other remote areas, the renter bears the full risk himself, there is no insurance cover.
One-way rentals (= pick-up at location 'A' and drop-off at location 'B') between all Australian depots and in all vehicle categories are possible on request with your booking. Therefore one-way fees of AU$ 165 will be charged and are payable locally.
The one-way option is allowed as long as the following minimum hire conditions are met:

You can pick up your vehicle at the booked depot at any time during the opening hours, but no later than 30 minutes prior to closing time.
You can only drop off your rental vehicle at the booked depot during opening hours, but no later than 30 minutes prior to closing time.
NOTE: If your return flight is at midday or earlier we recommend that you drop off your motorhome at the depot on the day before your flight and spend the night in a hotel (or similar).
If the vehicle is returned earlier than agreed no refund will be provided.
If it is not returned to the agreed depot, at the agreed time the rental company will charge appropriate fees.
You can only extend the hire with prior approval from the rental company at the standard rates. This rate is normally higher than the Motorhome Bookers rates and is payable immediately locally by credit card (via the phone or at a Cheapa rental depot), not at drop-off time.
If it is returned later than the agreed drop-off date without Cheapa being made aware of the extension the renter will be charged at a higher rate for those days (double the daily rate and if the depot is not the agreed drop-off location further transportation fees will be charged). You can also only change the drop-off depot with prior approval from the rental company. Otherwise, one-way fees as well as additional surcharges of at least AU$ 700 will apply.
If the vehicle is returned in a damaged or not in a clean state, if the toilet or waste water tanks are not emptied or the gas, petrol or diesel tank is not full Cheapa Campa will charge fees accordingly as well as processing fees. Please refer to the section 'Miscellaneous' / 'Post-hire Cleaning'.
Cheapa Campa does not provide any transfer.
The rental company will make every effort to ensure that the booked vehicle model is provided. However, it reserves the right, if due to unforeseen circumstances it has to provide either a vehicle of the same or a higher value without upgrade costs if the model booked is not available for any reason. Any additional costs such as higher petrol costs or ferry crossings costs, etc will not be refunded. This does not enable the renter to cancel his/her booking and there is no ground for reimbursement. Even though all vehicles have similar equipment and designs small differences in vehicle design may exist. All measurements and size indications are approximate values and are based on the information provided to us by the rental company. We can not accept responsibility for any mistakes or human error in the provision of these details. This information on our website can be changed at any time without prior notice.
The rental company reserves the right to charge a fee of up to AU$ 200 if the interior of any returned vehicle is extremely dirty. Toilets and waste water tanks (if the vehicle is equipped with these) must be completely emptied, petrol or diesel tanks must be full, otherwise a further fee of AU$ 150 will be charged. All vehicles must be completely free of mud. Smoking is not permitted in any of the vehicles or a cleaning & deodorising process will be necessary at a fee of up to AU$ 300.
The propane gas bottle (LPG) does not have to be full and can be brought back empty as long as the fee for this has already been paid. (see section 'Vehicle Equipment' / 'Extras' below). For any details on post-hire cleaning (Drop & Go Service) please see section 'Vehicle Equipment' / 'Extras'.
In the event of an accident, breakdown, technical difficulties or if other problems occur you are required to inform the rental company immediately and within no more than 24 hours. A nationwide network of contracted mechanics are available in such cases. In addition, Cheapa Campa has a 24-hour toll-free phone service (phone: 1300 798 212) which is available every day of the week. All Cheapa vehicles are also registered with the Australian Automobile Association (AA). Small repairs or expenses required for the upkeep of the vehicle up to AU$ 100 can be carried out without prior communication with the rental company and will be reimbursed to you at vehicle drop-off time. For repairs that will cost more than AU$ 100 you are required to notify the rental company before repairs take place in order to obtain their approval to proceed. Repairs can only be reimbursed upon presentation of a receipt.
Note: If you do not inform Cheapa Campa immediately about the need for a repair and if Cheapa Campa is not given the opportunity to help you and find a solution no reimbursement or compensation can be provided.
No compensation whatsoever is provided in case of any defects or repairs of WiFi, travel devices, radio, TV screen, CD or DVD player, awning, cruise control, etc. Further no compensation will be provided in the following events:
- failure of air conditioning in temperatures over 36 degrees Celsius
- defects of electric or gas heaters in temperatures below 4 degrees Celsius
- freezing of water pumps in temperatures below 2 degrees Celsius
Pets (dogs only) are allowed in the vehicles with prior and written notice for a fee of AU$ 250. Service dogs are allowed without any costs.
Smoking is not permitted in any of the vehicles or a cleaning & deodorising process will be necessary at a fee of up to AU$ 300.
ApolloConnect is a custom-built app for guests travelling in Australia and New Zealand. The free app provides guests with all the necessary information needed to make their Apollo journey even better.
The app is designed to:
• Enhance guests’ holiday experience by providing ‘how-to videos’ prior to pick-up, so that they become familiar with their vehicle before arriving at the branch and prepare any questions they may have.
• Educate our guests on how to use the vehicle and safe driving practices.
• Provide Apollo contact details to extend their holiday, contact roadside assistance, email any other enquiries, and find answers to FAQ’s.
• Provide information on campgrounds while on the road and allow for campgrounds to be booked.
• Search and book great deals on attractions and activities.
• Find helpful travel information such as branch locations, nearby petrol stations, dumping stations, supermarkets, and ATMs.
Guests can download the app on Google Play or the App Store.
